GiNA II is our second Mazda MX-5. She replaced GiNA I who was
written off in an accident. GiNA II's full pedigree name is "GiNA Mimi II".
Mimi was the name given to her by her previous owner but we wanted another
GiNA and decided to keep Mimi as well.
We bought GiNA II almost exactly one month after we lost GiNA I.
She is a 1993 car and has been very well
looked after by her first owner.
We don't have many pictures yet but here are a few to be going on with.
They were all taken on the MX-5 Owners Club "stand" at a car show at
Wroughton Airfield near Swindon in Wiltshire, England. This was GiNA II's
first official outing, only two days after we picked her up.

Andy, Gill and GiNA. Gill is clearly visible here, Andy is a bit
lost in the dark background. (57Kb)

A good view of the rear. That plate is large even by UK standards.
It will be replaced once I reclaim my private number from GiNA I. (51Kb)

Modifications and accessories
We've not had much time to add accessories but here's what we've done
so far:
- Alpine Radio/Cassette
- Fitted by the previous owner and very good it is too!
- MM Marketing Front Grill
- Fitted the day after we picked the car up.
- Microwave Alarm
- Sadly a necessity in this country at the moment.
- MX-5 Owners Club Rear Window Protector
- Manufactured by the Club and cheaper than a replacement window. Every 5
should have one.
- Autostyle MX-5 car mats
- Nice white piping to match the car.
- MX-5 Owners Club Fitted Luggage Set
- Manufactured by the Club with more nice white piping. If it doesn't fit
in this luggage it isn't coming with us.
- MX-5 Owners Club Top Boot Cover Bag
- A home for the Top Boot Cover when it isn't in use. This keeps the
Cover protected when it's stuffed behind a seat or thrown in the boot/trunk.
